You don’t have to have it all together to make a change.
(I should know. I tried that route.)
Hi, I’m Louise, a recovering perfectionist and certified life and business coach, based in Winchester, Hampshire. I work with people who are tired of doing everything right… but still not feeling right.
For years, I ran a thriving Virtual Assistant business called The Perfect Assistant. The name felt clever at the time - professional, polished, on brand. But honestly? I regretted it almost immediately.
Because trying to be perfect all the time is exhausting.
I know what it’s like to bend over backwards for everyone else, juggle work and life, and keep a calm exterior while you’re drowning in overthinking and self-doubt.
I don’t want that for you.
Why coaching?
As a VA, I worked with all kinds of people — ambitious business owners, overwhelmed parents, startup founders, creatives, corporate escapees.
No matter how different they were, the same patterns kept showing up:
✅ Overwhelm.
✅ People-pleasing.
✅ Procrastination.
✅ The pressure to get it just right.
It wasn’t productivity hacks they needed.
They needed space to pause, get clear, and trust themselves again.
That’s what led me to coaching — and why I trained to professional standards recognised by the International Coaching Federation (ICF), and am now working towards a postgraduate qualification.
How I coach
I don’t give advice or hand out life plans.
Instead, I ask good questions. I hold space and give you time to think for yourself. I help you untangle what’s really going on and support you to make changes that actually stick.
There’s no judgement. No fixing. Just real conversations that help you see things differently and move forward on your own terms.
(And if you’re wondering, yes — I still have perfectionist tendencies. But I no longer let them run the show.)
A few things you should know:
I’m a mum of two, so I get the real-life juggle and the mental load that comes with it.
I’ve worked with dozens of businesses and seen behind the scenes of burnout, bravado and self-doubt.
I believe coaching should feel safe, supportive and quietly powerful - not like a TED Talk or a sales pitch.
I’m not here to fix you. I don’t believe you need to be fixed. I’m here to help you find the answers you already have inside you.
If you’re thinking about working with me…
…you don’t need to have a big goal or a life plan. You just need to be ready for things to feel different — and open to exploring what that could look like.
Let’s find out what’s possible — together.
