I couldn't find a networking event that was quite what I wanted. Good food, good conversation, and a time of day that actually works — so I decided to create my own.

I had one goal in mind - to create a space for like minded business owners to come together, eat good food, have good conversation and leave feeling like you’ve had a great morning and made some great connections. That was my plan. I then put it out to others to find out exactly what they want. I’ve been to many networking events in the 8 years I’ve been in business and I’m not sure I’ve ever been asked before what I wanted…so I asked.

I was astounded - not just by the number of replies, but by how much people just wanted to be asked.

So this is our first event. We’ll give it a go, see what you think and if it works, we’ll do it again and again. We’ll learn as we go what works and what doesn’t.

Although I’m being stubborn with the food - I definitely want the brunch!

I've chosen The Candover — a beautiful new pub and inn in the Hampshire countryside, just outside Winchester. They're new, and so am I to this. But the moment I found them I thought: this is exactly the kind of place I'd love to spend a few hours. I hope you will too.
