Start The Thing You’ve Been Putting Off
An in-person group coaching and ‘doing’ session to finally get started

Friday 13th February: 10am - 1pm @ Maven, Winchester
£75 (Early Bird £65)
This is for the thing that’s been hanging over you…
…the website you keep meaning to start;
…the new product or service you want to create;
…the idea you’ve been carrying around but haven’t put into words;
…the piece of work that feels important, and therefore oddly hard to begin;
…the task that quietly follows you around, taking up more mental space than it deserves.
You want to get it done.
You just find it hard to start.
This session is here to help you get started. Together we will gently cut through the overthinking and the overwhelm of not knowing where to begin so you can move forward with clarity and momentum. You’ll leave with the feeling that you can finally achieve what you’ve been putting off for so long.
What this session is (and isn’t)
This isn’t a talk;
It’s not a planning workshop;
It’s definitely not a vision board workshop or a “New Year, New You” motivational speech;
And it’s not about finishing everything.
This is a supportive working session, designed to help you:
get past the mental block at the beginning
reduce the overwhelm that builds before you start
and take the first meaningful step, calmly and imperfectly.
You bring the thing and together we’ll create the conditions for you to begin.
Coaching that gives you space to think - and the structure to move forward
How the morning will work
Arrival & settling in
We start with coffee (I don’t know about you, but I can’t start anything without a warm drink in my hand!), a space to land, and a gentle welcome. There’s no pressure to be “ready” or bring lots of notes and ideas, just show up.
Coaching to get you unstuck
Through guided reflection and group coaching, we’ll explore:
why this task has felt so hard to start
where perfectionism or overwhelm might be getting in the way
what the smallest useful next step actually is
I’ve designed this first section with the clear goal of helping you to feel clearer, lighter and ready to move forward.
Time to actually begin
This is the heart of the session. It’s time to actually do the thing. You’ll spend focused time working on the task you brought - whether that’s drafting your website copy, working on your product offering, creating a social media plan or anything else.
You’ll have:
structured working time
gentle accountability
support as needed, without rush or pressure
I’ve spent 8 years supporting small businesses behind the scenes, so if you get stuck I’ll be on hand to help you find your way forward. There won’t be any head in hands moments trying to find your way around Squarespace or working out how to edit a reel watching the clock tick by. We’ll figure it out together.
Reflection & next steps
Before we close, we’ll take time to reflect on what’s been accomplished and plan a next step you can take immediately after the session. You’ll leave with momentum, not just ideas.
This session is for you if:
you’ve been putting something off for weeks, months - maybe even years
the task feels heavier the longer it stays undone
you care about doing it well and that’s part of the problem
you work better with calm structure and human support
you’re ready to stop carrying it around in your head
You don’t need motivation, you need momentum… and a place to begin.
Why I’m the right person to guide this
I’m a trained, ICF-accredited coach with a non-directive approach. I don’t tell people what they should do or push them into action.
Instead, I help people create clarity and movement at the point where they usually get stuck, especially when something matters and perfectionism or overwhelm creep in.
Before coaching, I spent several years working as a Virtual Assistant, supporting a wide range of small businesses behind the scenes. I’ve seen first-hand how often capable people stall at the starting point, not because they don’t know enough, but because the task feels tangled or heavy.
That experience means I understand the practical reality of the kind of things you may bring to the session - whether that’s starting a website, shaping a new offering, or putting structure around an idea.
If you get stuck, I won’t take over or “do it for you”. But I can help you untangle the next step, ask the right questions, and, where helpful, gently point you in a sensible direction.
This session is designed to be calm, human and practical.
A place where starting feels possible again.
